About Us
Who We Are
We are a group of Granger residents ready and willing to work to further this vision of a connected community. Anyone is welcome to participate in any way to help towards reaching our goal. You can contact us with comments and discuss the project and possibilities by using the form on the Contact page. You can become involved for a specific part of the project or you can be in it for the long term (which could span several years).This group originated with the Granger Community Planning Council (GCPC) — a number of Granger residents working with Councilman Dale Devon to define a vision for Granger. Any Granger residents are welcome to attend GCPC meetings and be a part of this group.
Our Plans
There are a number of things that need to happen in our community before any pathways can be planned and built. These include:- survey our community for interest and ideas
- map out the possibilities for paths
- determine the feasibility of proposed paths
- apply for grants from various funding agencies
- work on our own local fundraising efforts
- work with county staff and councillors
- keep our community involved and informed
