The Friends of Granger Paths, Inc. is a dedicated, all volunteer 501(c)(3) organization championing the development of paths in the Granger area. We accomplish this through advocacy and fundraising to secure matching grants. These pathways do more than connect neighborhoods to significant locals spots, they foster a stronger, more unified community.

 

We will be holding our annual 5K and Family Fun Run, now in its 17th year, at Northpoint School on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. We are asking for your support in sponsoring our race. Your donation will be used to connect new trails to the current tail system. Your financial support is crucial for the expansion of our paths. We anticipate over 400 participants, alongside their family and friends who come to support them. Our mission to construct pathways in Granger has been active for over two decades. Thanks to our generous sponsors over the years, the Adams Road Pathway, now complete, links Gumwood Road, SR23, and extends into Michigan. Our most recent project, completed in 2024, connects the Fountain Blue neighborhood with the path at Northpoint Elementary. This achievement is yours as much as ours-and our heartfelt thanks go to you.

 

Also, as part of our mission, we collaborated with MACOG (Michiana Area Council of Government) along with local and county officials, to integrate Granger Paths into the comprehensive 20 year county plan. This plan is now complete.
