Hello Granger Paths members and associates,
I just wanted to give you a quick update. Tonight at the county council committee meeting, we will move forward with the American Rescue Plan appropriation to finally build a park at the Anderson Rd. location. There will be a couple of more votes before we can officially begin working on the new park. The full council will vote on March 14th and then the Commissioners will vote the following Tuesday. Finally the Parks Board will have to approve a Memorandum of Understanding. This MOU includes a line encouraging engagement with Granger Paths.
In addition, we are going to get our beautiful new park built without increasing your taxes! Once the votes have been made and our plans are in the works, we can then begin to develop plans for trails connecting the park to other parts of Granger with input from all stakeholders.
Thank you all for your hard work in making Granger a wonderful place to live!
